hey guys. just wanted to throw up some pics of my new lift, wheels, and tires.

specs are:
OME 881/891
OME N91s/N86
Sonoran Steel fully adjustable trac bar
toytec 1" diff drop
265/75 nitto terra grapplers
16x7 OME toyota wheels painted gunmetal.

i couldn't be happier. looks and drives like a completely new truck. ride is firm (which i like) but not overly harsh at all. i would recommend this setup to anyone looking for a conservative lift.

before:

one thing i did notice was the front tires now have a slight amount of positive camber (didn't know if i was going to see that or not with this setup). any suggestions on how to correct this?

*best angle i could get at the time*

also, a day or so after everything was installed i noticed a grease-like substance covering the area around the power steering and lower control arm on the drivers side. i took it back to the guy to installed it ( a friend of my older brother ) after looking over everything for a couple hours he called me back and said it wasn't oil, power steering fluid, or tranny fluid, but rather there was too much front differential fluid, causing a backup and spilling out. he said that it wasn't anything the lift had caused, but it looked like something that had been going on for a while because the pan directly under it had some caked on fluid that looked like it had been there for some time. he drained a little out, and i haven't seen any since. anyone had this happen, or hear something like this?

comments are welcomed. thanks for looking! :drink:

I think it looks great. I think you made a good choice going from the 01-02 Limited/Sport wheels to the painted 6 spoke wheels.

That's pretty much what I wish my 4Runner looked like! Nice job

it looks good- also looks like you gunmetal'd your hitch too, yeah? it's a good match with the rims (via the pictures, anyway).
i think you've given me something to do this spring with my 3 split-spoke oem's.

Makes me want to trade my 99-00 Sport/Limited wheels for some of those and painting them.. I was already thinking about painting mine gunmetal, just don't think it would look as good as the split 6spokes do.

Looks great dude
Interested in having a 6 spoke spare to match :D
lol

As for your camber issue, with any lift, after install, you will want to get an alignment.
Its basic suspension 101, your changing the angle of the suspension, has to be doen for those even replacing worn components...

Looks good, I am really digging those split tri spokes. I am contemplating a set of those for my Taco. :)

4Runner looks great . IMO, a black 4Runner looks stellar when it's clean.

I like the gunmetal painted idea too...just not a fan of those rims in particular though. My wife has them on her '00 4Runner and I'm really just tired of looking at them for 2+ years now :D. Would much prefer her 4Runner to have a set of the more sought after 5 spoke rims instead. Just need to find someone willing to trade...
