Shot you a pm, I was thinking we could use a write-up for the 79-95 Trucks and 4Runners category and if you want, I'll convert it into a Wiki article.

Same for anyone running one as it's time we got this and the Aussie Locker install off the ground. my plan is to talk with Zuk and get the Ok to use his for the Aussie, and CHris or another member here's write-up for the e-locker.

Specifics needed are a properly detailed and pic oriented write-up showing the wiring along with the mod to the housing needed. I don't care if you've an auto or manual transmission at this point, I want to try to get the article up by mid-Feb.

The help's appreciated as my install's being pushed back a few months.

Haha, yeah I had my hands full with this one and no time for pics. Sorry

Ken's is good.

Actually you need to get all of ken's LED lighting stuff. :hillbill:

Can you just save the fullsize pics to a UY server? I will look on my computer at home, but the ones posted on my site might be all I have.

I've got pics of the LED stuff. Bare stars, regulators, rock light mounts etc. I have some pictures of my dome lights as well. All are using Cree LED's.

I can't imagine the wiki being highly bandwidth intensive, so if you or UY do not have space to host them, you can hit my off-road.com (where they're hosted now). It will probably be fine.

When you get to the 86-95 elocker retrofit, I can help add some that is more coil sprung 4runner specific. (i.e. the stock swaybar will not fit) :)

Mike, wanna do the writeup then and I'll transfer it over into the Wiki? :D

What kind of write up are you looking for? Ken HAD a rear cargo light that had a homemade regulator and superflux leds. He now has what I have back there, Cree XR-e Q5 leds. I've got both dome lights done with 2 of these. We also have a hatch light with the same leds. I am also using them as rock lights. All of mine use the same LED, same type of regulator they're just mounted in different locations.

In the garage I have a description and photos of the hatch light along with the rear lights.
