Big Bear updates

Anyone know how often the Ranger updates the closures of trails? Only info I can find online pertain to 2008 and given the dramatically changing weather this month I wonder what the conditions are like up there at the moment.

Yeah thanks Sean, but I was hoping for a written list of closures. I didn't really want to sit on the phone and write down all the details for all the trails up there.

Oh, well. I'll give them a call. Looking forward to some wheeling up there this weekend!

yeah, the locals are pretty bad at updating the websites. im not sure what is closed for the winter, but i know holcomb creek is still closed from the fires a few years ago. i know 3n16 stays open, not sure about john bull, gold mountain, etc.

the only trail that is closed right know is holcomb creek. john bull, gold mtn. and all the others are still open
