short notice cleghorn or calico for sunday Jan 18th

ive been working my butt off this week and i gotta get out and play on sunday. anyone else up for a run in the victorville area? im really open for sugestions. anything from mild to reasonably wild ... i havnt had a chance to even prep my sliders for welding.

i did take some of the funner parts of cleg last weekend. its more challenging after this weather we have had.

calico sounds good. but we gotta go in mines if we go there so bring a flashlight and a backup light. its safe!

the wheeling aspect of calico is what ever you want to make of it. there's everything from fire roads to "the gate keeper". unfortunatly i dont have much first hand knowledge of where the good technical parts are, other then a few sections i found on my way to various mines. jen would be a good one to get ahold of for the best 4x4 areas. ill have my gps and google earth going. anyone got jens number? duran and phillips are the main 4x4 areas though and i have those roads on my map.

steve ill give you the directions to my house. its only about 15-20 minutes past cleghorn on the 15N

and p.p.s that gas station has expensive gas and hardly any food. its best to hit the outlet mall area before barstow for chow and gas.

Sounds good. I unfortunately no longer have any lighting. Last time I used my headlamp I left it sitting on my bumper and drove off(bye bye $200 light). Should we just meet @ Del Taco near the outlets
