I was speaking with Lance when the subject of Hydraulics came up, so I figured why not share with the class.

The reason I know of this stuff is through my suspension and braking training, as well as what I'm seeing going on over at the Seattle, WA, and San Diego and Oakland, CA freightyards with the push to go green.

Toyota did a great job introducing the xreas for the mall cruisers but I gotta say I'm not sure if it's really tuned for the trails. I've seen plenty of xreas based spacer solutions on the trails hammering down the trail and seem to handle well so you never know. My 4runner didn't have that complex crap so I never had to worry about. Then again it wouldn't have lasted much considering how crappy I drive :ban:

That link for the HHV is pretty sweet. I'd love to see something like that for consumers! Too bad I have no idea or can't even figure out how they make all that work.

Someone got a cliff notes version that can elaborate for the lamer in me?
