My wife managed to volunteer me for pulling music together for an 80's dance at my church. Apparently we have some Rhapsody gift cards - never used this service. I do use iTunes though and would prefer to get this music into there so I an make a CD or 3 for the dance.

Anyone have recommendations for songs/artists for this playlist?

Thanks!!

look on the itunes essentials lists- there are a bunch of different 80's lists. (Dance, rock, pop, ect..)

Journey, Huey Lewis, warrant, quiet riot, scorpions, stevie ray vaughn, motley crue, uh i dunno really it depends on what kinda music they like and what you think they would feel most comfortable listening too.

Too bad Personal Jesus (hee hee) came out in '90.....

Guess you'll have to lip-synch Milli Vanilli style while doing double time (or something else) in your Hammer Pants.

Mike, I've got a buddy who does DJ stuff on the side. I'll send him a message to see if he has any ideas.

Personally, I'm clueless. I haven't followed music too much. Men at Work by Down Under (or was it Down Under by Men at Work??--something like that) was a pretty good song. When was Seven Bridges Road by the Eagles written? Probably older than '80s, but still one of my favorite. :D

I own that and second that! It's always good to play danger zone while cruising down the freeway... then imagining you had a sidewinder or two to move the car you've been zeroing in.
