I had a customer roll in the shop (pre-booked) Tuesday ... to have his 1/4rs replaced .. we discussed the work which includes NO Paint , and shook hands .

Wednesday we rolled the unit in ..
and quickly got the roof removed , and interior out .. and started to remove the steel 1/4rs

not a lot of rust on this unit .. but as I constantly see , rust under the top rail .

Nice work, I really need to take a long road trip one of these months and get my 4runner rehabed a bit at your shop.

ground down all the rust back to steel .. the epoxy "panel bonder"
(glue) MUST be to bare steel ... then 1/2" tape to tape off a "glue" strip .. then sealed with zinc , once the panel is on , (depending on how much you want to spend) the inside metal is either undercoated , por-15'd or epoxy'd .... this one was undercoated .
