I saw that rendering late last year but didn't think too much of it since it was just a rendering. It does follow a few cues of the current gen prado/lexus gx but it doesn't show a clear indication of what the 4runner holds since the 4runner will only carry over everything except the sheet metal.

I suspect it'll be a more contoured version of the current 4th gen utilizing whatever the new prado's engine/drivetrain/electronics will have. Hopefully we'll see some better images by Summer. I still think the 4runner won't be ready until 2011 (including the Prado since I haven't seen anything that confirms that it'll be ready by 2010.)

read last month that the new prado will be displayed in the tokyo motor show. it was originally planned for the geneva motor show but there had been delays so it was moved to the '09 tokyo motor show

I don't like the fact that between the new lc,highlander,and rav4 they all look the same can't toyota come up with something more original and different like maybe a 4 door modern looking fj40
