I sold my 87 4Runner back in 2005 and then went out to do the Jeep thing...that was fun for a little bit till Jeep problems happened. I have been itching to get back into a Toyota again. Last weekend I looked at an 88 Toyota P/U Extra Cab and ended up buying it. Im going to go pick it up this weekend. She isn't much of looker, but this will be a pretty dedicated trail/snow/camping truck. So far my plans for it are 31x10.50 BFG M/T KM2's, upgrade the shocks(probably will Bilstein), looking at either the all-pro offroad bumper or the addicted offroad rear bumper(when they get one for the trucks) and either a rattle can paint job or try my had a compressor and spray gun. Ill get more pics when I pick her up.

No doubt Scooby is referring to having cavorted with the Jeep thing...

Nice truck! I like the look of the x-tra cabs. I would elect to go with a compressor and cup gun paint job. Much better results and less work. IMHO...

I actually got some meds for the burning pee...it helped a lot. But I was a Toyota guy before the Jeep. I had an 87 4Runner but unfortunate circumstances put me in a Jeep for a couple years. Glad Im out of that now.

I guess I dont email when threads get post. But I picked up and I love it. Like I said need to get some stuff done on it but its not my DD so it will have to wait till summer.

My roommate found a compressor and spray gun so I think we are good to go on that end. I just need to find a time during summer where he can have it for a week.
