Hey folks.

I'm looking for a set (24) of lug nuts for my 5th gen Tacoma rims I have.

The nuts look similar to the bottom ones in this picture:

Thanks! :D

I maybe wrong but aren't the 2 different types shown for rims that are either hub-centric vs. lug-centric?

Last time I had to buy lugnuts (about 10 years ago) I found my best deal for exactly what I needed at 4wheelparts. I typically do not do business with them but they had what I needed for much less than anyone else.

I think the top one is for rims that are lug-centric. I dunno about the bottom, but would guess it would be for hub centric rims.

I have the top kind that went with my MT classic rims (which had a beveled hole), but now I think I need the bottom kind to go with my Tacoma rims I bought (which don't have a beveled hole). I think. :D

I'll check 4wheelparts. Thanks!

4wheelparts appears not to have them, as well as Pep Boys and Advanced Auto.

AutoZone has them for $2.00 each, and the local dealership said they could get me some for $3.00 each.

These add up quick, so I'm still looking for some cheaper. Thanks folks.

Lug nuts aren't necessarily a good deal. A couple three bucks is fine but you have to buy a bunch. I'd try a tire shop near a dealer. They're usually the ones that do the take offs.

Yeah, a guy I know at the local Toyota dealer said they usually have a stock pile of lug nuts that are leftover from when they put aftermarket wheels on their Tacomas. They only had a couple when I was there though. He gave me one and said Merry Christmas. :D

 When I went to steel rims I went to the tire shop to get just regular lug nuts, he laughed and said it was going to be almost $50, I was  They let me take home two buckets of take off lugnuts to see if I could find a matching set with the right thread and everything. I spent an hour sitting in the driveway seeing which ones fit and which ones didn't. I don't have a matching set, but each side is matching. I figured you can't see the other side so you won't know.

I got these: http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/gor68138l.jpg

Didnt work to well with my aftermarket rims, but did work ok with stock rims. I wanna sell them and have a whole set. They have alittle wear from me putting them on with my impact gun and then removing them. They were on the truck for maybe 5 miles before i decided they were causing the rims not to seat right.

Thanks CJM, but I don't think those will work. The Tacoma lug nuts have a washer type of deal that seats down on the face of the rim. Thanks though! Wish those were what I needed.

Well I tried, they are worthless to me, cause my rims to not seat right due to the fact that not all of them would seat flat.

you can try post on craig list, lost of tire shop crooks keep them from their customers when they buy new rims.
