Okay, I know this is a weird wanted ad, but I was wondering if anyone has an empty Patron tequila bottle laying around that they want to get rid of?

Thanks,

I know somewhere I can go and find one to 'drain'.
As a matter of fact that would go well right now.

Maybe I'll make you bring over here in a day or two. I should have made a beer run before tonight. I have 2 beers in the whole house and I'm a little thirsty.

Yep, if you want it, sure...but do you really want to have to drive 3 hours for it? :D
*That or I have a really lame excuse to head out to Pismo..

If you're serious, then tell me, I'm stuck doing schoolwork and logging off (here) so the only way I'd know of a reply would be through a notification.

I just bum it off people while at their house. Marin bought a bottle once though. She's older and more sophisticated than me though.

Wife's family is connected w/ Patron...I'm spoiled. :D (*And an adult, back in school.)

Chris, just let me know, I stuck it in a safe spot for you. FWIW, just buy a bottle and throw a party? Cheaper than gas still. ;)
I'd offer to ship it, ($4-10 w/ breakage insurance..I'd claim a $100 value w/ UPS) but even if properly padded it still falls into the open bottle transport law and would probably be stopped by some overzealous inspector. If I was to drive I'd have to keep to the speed limit, I can just see a sobriety test being completely sober going on. :spit:

 Yeah, I may try the bars as well. Something tells me I'd have to get lucky and get the last shot myself, otherwise it's probably tossed. Not sure.

I actually want to make something with one and I (a) can't afford to go buy and full bottle and (B) it would take me awhile to polish it off myself. :drink: You're right though, at this moment, something local will work the best.

*I hesitated to ask until I heard how his visit to Frat row went...

Seriously Chris, what's the underlying story, and why not just buy the bottle and split it with the PolyGoats...that way I can find out what someone's done about his rolled 4Runner.

Mikie's rig is up and running. I saw him and the runner out at the dunes last Sat. night. He should be getting the cage soon and installing it.

The patron bottle has to do with some of the stuff I've been making lately. :D

Oh, I would totally buy a full one if I could afford it right now. That and I wouldn't want to transfer it to a different container. That would just be sacrilege.

*We need an  icon...Find out if he or one of his friends is coming home to family over break and ask him to pick up the bottle from me to deliver to you?? I'll happily box and pad it for you.

Wait a minute, I can give it to Josh and have him take it if I can. I'll check with his father (neighbor) and see when he's up next!!

If not, then we go with the first idea, or I give it to Josh or Mike over break.

**O/T what did Mike end up doing, pushing the cab back out or a body swap??

What kind of leverage would this bottle give us as far as one of those table pieces. The Mrs. wants to know. ;)

[EDIT]Chris..I need your contact info, Josh's parents are headed that way right now, and will be there tonight!!

if your really going to make a bong out of it... just get bong vodka, very nifty shape, any glass shop can drill it out and cut the top off for you for cheap

so chris, do you sell any of these pieces?

Well, that is still to be determined. I am trying to. That wine bottle one is the only one I've made so far of that one. I'm trying to sell my stuff on an online handmade goods website. It's much cheaper than ebay and I can make my own "shop". At least it will help to get my name out there and I can actually give people a valid website to go look at my stuff rather than a long arse photobucket url. you can check it out www.stovertileanddesign.etsy.com

I haven't sold anything through there yet, but I have had some outside orders that I've done. Also, here's a thread about it on here and it has pics of some of the other stuff I made for people.

Chris, Im not sure i mentioned it before, you should make up some 4x5 notecard sized comp cards, models use this when they go into agencies

instead you would use this to go into smaller furniture/kitchen/neat novelty stores to see if they would be interested in buying certain small inventory to sell for you.

just a thought
