Im thinking about getting an extra car battery and one of these for using as a photo lighting battery system

anybody have recommendations on a nice sine wave inverter and cables to connect it to a battery (may go with a marine ap)

If you have a West Marine in your area, they seem to be pretty knowledgeable about electrical stuff. Pure sine wave inverters are common on larger and more expensive yachts.

Are you sure your equipment requires a pure sine wave. If not you can save a lot of money.

yes strobe flash monolights require sine wave or can be damaged without.

im not sure how much an inverter runs, if its more then me getting a vagabond (specific for strobe flashes) at 300 then ill go that route anyways.

just want to do some location work with the elinchroms im getting tomorrow. and dont want to damage lights worth a couple grand
