Came across three differentials and i need some help id'ng them so i can sell em.

I think they are Land Cruiser diffs. They are open, not locked, and appear to be 9.5's.

Here are some bad cell phone pics:

Also i found besides the Toyota symbol, a couple of numbers.

41111-600011

on two of them i found the number 24 and a small capital D
on the other i found a 17 and a large capitol D.

Any ideas?

I looked around quick on google but got frustrated trying to weed out good info, so i thought i might try my expert panel.

I did find some newer model ones on ebay for $299, what would be a good price for these do you think?

Thank you,

Reggie

take a tape measure to the ring gear, that will tell you right away. then count the teeth on the ring gear, divide by teeth on the pinion, thats your gear ratio.

all look to be LC diffs to me!

Im pretty sure they are 9.5's

i did a quick count and i am pretty sure i counted 12 bolts.

Not to worried about ratio, they are clean enough, one has a little surface rust, but I'll sell em for rebuilds/spare parts.

mainly not sure on a fair price, or if they are some ultra exotic rare find worth millions.

*EDIT!*

According to everything i am reading online, they are indeed a 9.5" diff.

I always thought they were 8.8", but 9.5" makes more sense being how big they are.

Based off the flange design, i would say FJ40, perhaps late 70's. What is the gear ratio? I can usually pin them down in my computer based off that

I would say they are early to late 70's, FJ40 diffs.

I second that, If you look in the pics, on the back of the ring gear, the old OLD original Toyota Symbol presides, I thank SLO for getting that emblem embedded in my head.

So I think they are def some OLD diffs lol
