Hello all... my name is dustin and I recently found out that I'm addicted to toyotas!!

It's not the worst disease you can have...but it can be fairly expensive!!

So anyways I own a 2000 4runnerSR5 and it's probably the best four wheel drive I've ever owned... I also just acquired an 85 toyota 4x4 that is slightly lifted on 33's.

My 4runner is stock so I'm new to the 4x4 mod thing...

Am looking to better the truck and make it climb good so any advice on mods is appreciated...

Sounds good. Which one do you want us to spend your money on?

Keep the 2000 stock, and butcher the 85'.

X2. Or build up the 2000 as an expedition truck, and build the '85 as a rock crawler.

lol see, since 2000's are easilly found and plentiful, thats the one id cut up! LT it or SAS. id keep the 85 as mint as possible, since they are actually worth something and one hell of a truck!

So I'm runnin 33's with a 4.10 gear ratio... I want the truck to be somewhat streetable... but it's kinda gutless right now... any suggestions on a good gear ratio?

if you want it back to stock (and stock was 4.10 with 265/70r16) then 4.56 would take you back there with your 33" tires. you could bump up to 4.88 and get some more offroad performance and acceleration, while your top speed and cruising fuel mileage will suffer.
