Price: $7500 OBO - price is negotiable

new price -- $6500!

This thing is ready to roll. Hate to do this, but i really just do not have time to wheel... work and school have me wanting to do other things with the free time I do have, and I am trying to keep my money from going into this truck any deeper.

This truck is in great shape and deserves someone who wants to use it for what it's built for. I used the best of everything in the build.

1991 Toyota Pickup 22re 5spd
vin: JT4RN01PXM7049336

Stats:

Engine was replaced 60K ago, brand new toy engine in a crate
Transmission is a G-series with 62K on it
Brand new brakes all around & almost all brake lines replaced
New exhaust from the front flange back
MINT frame, no holes or deep rust spots, completely repainted during build
brand new ceramic clutch
brand new windshield

The bad:

I flopped it, so the passenger side is wrinkled
Slight sputter at idle... probably easy to fix, no vacuum leaks and I put a new EGR valve in
Bed isn't great, will either need to be strengthened or replaced eventually

What's in it (the good!):

Solid axle out of an 85 pickup, trussed, armored and has gussets
Trail gear IFS eliminator kit, 4"
4" TG rear springs
Bilstein 5150's front + rear
FoxFab DOM sliders
30 spline longs + hub gears
Yukon 5.29 gears front + rear with lockright lockers, professionally installed
Marlin MC07-R10 dual case adapter
Marlin 23 spline input gear
TG skidplate/xmember, brand new mount
Allpro front shaft
Custom rear shaft
Procomp 87 series rims
35" Cooper STT's -- 6300 miles total on them
All the best fluides... Mobil1 all around, including the axles
brand new fender installed on pass side, i have a brand new one waiting to go on driver side
bucket seats out of a 90 4runner

Does the windshield or passengers window leak at all?

Lee
05-16-2009, 08:03 PM
NEW PRICE: 6500!

passenger side window doesnt go up all the way, didnt get a chance to finish it before the winter hit and havent had time since.

it closes 98% of the way, nothing in the way of rain or other weather gets in tho.

i can take pics to show you what i mean. it goes down 2/3 of the way, if you put it down more, it will lose the track. all that needs to be done is for the panel to be popped off, glass to be taken out, and the top edges to be worked on to let the glass slide up.

then you can secure the track at the bottom so it will let the glass roll all the way down. i left it loose because i thought i'd have time to get back to it...

i have 2 GREAT condition doors of matching black color that the buyer can have if they pay the asking price or close to it.

windshield doesnt leak at all.

the interior does need some finishing (finish mounting the head unit, mount the cb permanently, rewire the pass side speaker, perhaps remove the carpets and put some roll on bed liner?)

anyway it comes with this alpine CDE-9874

and this cobra 19 dx iv cb

Where are the people looking to SAS?

If a person had space, they could buy this truck, take the parts they want for their build and either be left with a great stocker-ish DD and a built truck or a sweet pile of parts.

Best of luck. You're doing the right thing but it is a tough time to do it.

thanks buddy

yeah this is definitely not the ideal economy to sell an unnecessary toy, but i'm just hoping someone wants a good deal! :)

it's ok though I have time to wait.
