When i break i feel the car pivot/roll to the driver left then when stop is almost complete roll/pivot back to the back passenger side rear. its like the right front is stiffer than the left front shock. Can they be recharged or is there a specific pressure there suppose to be set at. Whats the deal with the suspension as i don't know much about it and if this is a normal problem. do they need to be adjusted or something. I want to replace them with new coilovers from allprooffroad.com but don't have the money right now haha. general problem with the economy. Any help is appreciated.

Somewhat answered my own question with this information.

XREAS stands for "Cross Linked Relative Absorber System".
X-REAS was designed to help improve vehicle on-road handling performance. This technology links each of the vehicle's shocks to it's diagonal counterpart via a gas hydraulic chamber. During cornering or when traveling over bumpy surfaces, the gas hydrauilc chamber acts like a bank "borrowing" fluid from the cross-linked shock bearing the least amount of force and "loaning" it to the shock sustaining the greatest amount of force. This exchange of fluid helps the 4Runners wheels maintain contact with the driving surface and helps lessen vehicle body sway, pitch and roll, making for a more comfortable ride.

Can you add pressure to this system via a toyota dealer or what do i do to fix this.

It turns out that when any part of the hydraulic workings in the XREAS system is disconnected, the whole system is kaput. While the XREAS is a clever idea, it was not meant to be serviced in any way, shape, or form. A leaking XREAS can only be replaced with a complete factory-new system.

It sounds like one of your shocks went bad and therefore the opposite side also gets affected. Not sure if that's something a dealer would fix but I would suspect they'll just charge you for a whole set of shocks.

You're better off just going aftermarket at this point.

Good luck!
