haha, no i wasnt serious! i like all you guys (ok well most, lol!) and will wheel with just about anyone as long as they are responsible and not a liability on the trail.

would love to go, but funds are tight, and driving the 4runner that far with its ~13mpg highway just doesnt fit... plus i think im about to bust a cv axle to :-P ... (boot on the passenger side is shot)

You think 930 in the morning is early.....
I have to be up and out of my house by 530 in the morning to drive 2 1/2 hours to go wheeling in a park that I have to pay to wheel in.
and since I want to get my every last penny out of it, they open at 8 and I wheel till the sun goes down.

930, pft, come live in my area and wheel :-P

you know I love you guys and wish I was out there to join you!!

Sean I've been waiting to go on that trail. Will road tires and open diffs survive the trail?

yeah you would do just fine. basically theres a bypass for everything hard. you can kind of pick and choose what you want to do and what you want to skip. its been forever since ive been there(like a year...) but nothing too hard.

was hopin someone who has been up there in the last couple months would be going. scuba? i know troy works most weekends, or at least saturdays.

Should I be concerned about taking my 3rd gen on John Bull? :headscratch:

John Bull isn't terribly hard, just expect slider usage and skid bashing.

Seanz0rz
05-13-2009, 10:22 PM
nah youll be fine on johnbull, i did it open/open with no armor, had to get tugged a couple of times but NO damage. did it locked in the rear with sliders and got some rockrash on the passenger side, but that was my stupidity coupled with some bad spotting.

thanks for the invite though!
