I'm just wondering how many people on here live in Utah.
I'm moving up there next week to start a new job and just wondering if any members on here live up there know of any places in the South Salt Lake, Murray area that has affordable apartments/housing.

Hmmm. I answered this early this morning.....I guess I forgot to hit 'post'.
Anyway, I am here in Ut. We are about 35 mins from SSL/Murray. Don't have any info on rental rates, but with all of the distressed mortgages and "must sell" homes, you could prolly find one to rent for a resonable price.
You'll love off-roading in Utah. It's terrific this time of year.

I wish I could but I'll be on limited income for abit.
Were at in Utah? The only places I've really wheeled here in Utah has been 5-Mile Pass and a little bit down at Little Moab.

Well, there are a number of cool places to go off roading. It depends on how difficult you want the trail to be and how long you want to be out. I usually go in the back country to do some shooting, exploring ghost towns and spend time with my boys, so hanging off of boulders is not my thing. Some guys like more severe stuff (like my misguided bro-in-law....) and there are great places for that too.
When you get here, give me a shout and we'll get you squared away with trails to you taste.

I like doing the wild stuff but only as a passenger. Otherwise I stick to more on the stuff in middle.
I'm actually starting work tommorrow and the next few weekends are up in the air between finding a place to live and possiblie heading to Idaho to mountain bike with one of my friends.
Need to find some more Utah people and organize some sort of run.

We are legion. I can link you to a couple of local boards if you wish. If not, again, give me a shout via PM and we'll talk.

Hey.....that's right up the road from where I live. It's been a while since I went up there since they began charging money. I am ideologically opposed to paying admission to public land that my taxes go to maintain....hehe. Not that I am boycotting or anything there are just too many other free places to go.

Know of anyone that has a trailer I could borrow. Just got a place up in Bountiful (well almost just waiting on some final paperwork).
I'll be hitting up Skyline Drive and that area shortly.
