Well I can't decide if I want to keep my 5 star wheels or go with some LC wheels. What do you think?

All personal preference really.
I like them both but got a steal of a deal on the 5 spoke limited so I will be going with them for now.

Got any pics of the new runner?

Another idea is maybe use one set for off-road and another for on-road tires?
I am going to use my current rims for off road and then use the 5 spoke for on-road.

Just an idea

IMO the 5 spoke are the best looking, hands down.

The 5-spoke 4Runner wheels are my all-time favorite.

LC Wheels. Looks like very different offsets between the 2 wheels or is that just an illusion?

My vote goes to the 5-spoke 4Runner wheels. 2nd vote goes to LX450 rims, followed by the LC rims. :D

I like the LC rims, I like how they dish in, the 5spokes look like they would really like to rub some rocks.

On the other hand, they both are cool. :)

lc wheels are 16x8 and 4runner wheels are 16x7.

LC wheels are an over-rated internet trend IMO. Unless you need the extra inch, like seanzorz mentioned.
LX450 wheels are bananas, however.

Actually considering your track record, I would go with whatever ones will hold their resale value the best. :flipoff:

LC, you have a choice of going with either 265/75 or 285/75 without rubbing issues. both have the same BS, LC is 16x8 vs LTD 16x7, so the LC makes the tires sticking out 1" more.

draw back is the LC wheels won't clear the tundra brakes without trimming.

i switched from the 5 spokes to the lc wheels not too long ago, didn't have anything to do with an internet trend though. running 285s or above i feel more comfortable with an 8" and I actually made money off the swap. i love both rims, but with all the factors i liked the cruisers more

I loved my LX450 wheels but they are hard to come by and they are $$$$ so I'm going to stick with the 5 star and I think I'll be happy with them. Thanks for everyones input.

I love em but the offset... I feel the LC wheels were a match made in heaven for the 4Runner. Not to mention you dropped and ass bomb of money on those wheels so you have to like them.

How did you get them to fit?
Even with teh Stock 4Runner calipers they rubbed, so I sold the ones I got cause if I went with the tundra calipers (which I have) they wouldn't clear at all..

I ordered them with 3 5/8 backspacing to avoid having rubbing issues and/or having to shave my a-arms.

here's some side shots, you can see how much they stick out
