What he said.
I usually climb on the tire.
Also if you get sliders then voila, a step :-D

Sliders.
Rear tires.
Open door.
I'll happily take some photos tomorrow or as soon as it stops raining, it's been pouring here since yesterday.
I have the the Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift kit (here: http://www.sonoransteel.com/store_complete_liftkits.html ) and I currently have the stock size tires and the running boards on. I bought the lift mostly to conquer snow and for logging roads and such; I don't have enough money for sliders and the boards don't impede my off-road adventues, few as they are.

Here's a picture of my 2000 Sport with a SS1.2 lift and the stock running boards. My sliders are getting welded on next week.

hey YotaFun. Having trouble emailing you. Did you install your lift or did a local shop. I'm looking for a place near by. I live in Manayunk. I know of a few places out in chester county.
Thanks

Really? Thats weird...
I installed the lift with a help from a friend, we did it in the parking lot across from his house.
Honestly its not that hard.
would be even easier if you get the front struts already assembled or got adjustable coil overs.
Where are you getting your lift from? What lift are you going with?

I'm gonna go with the sonoran steel System 7.2. A local shop said it would be around $600 (possible a full day to install). That seems really high.

Order the lift with the front struts assembled.
Get a case of beer and some pizza, and I will help you I stall it.
Then all you will have to do is pay like 90 dollars to get it aligned.

no problem at all dude.
Really isn't hard to do. About 2 hours cause I know there will be rust and it will be done.
Which reminds me, pick up a few cans of on blaster and start spraying everything down.
The top of the struts and shocks, everything also the swaybar endlinks.
And trust me on spending the extra 50$ to get the struts assembled, that is what took me so long to do my lift, granted I needed them apart anyway to powdercoat them.
I will e-mail you when I get home, I am out right now and this iPhone is about to die LOL.
