So you need the loaded weight? You said unloaded it weighs 1K? Are you shipping it with tools?

You were in the biz. Can't you call someone up and get weight specs for a moving company?

Where in NorCal is it going? I'm thinking if the price is right I could take my trailer to Pismo (if I'm able to make it) and drive it up here from there. It's not going to be until 4RJ though. Plus I'm not insured for stuff like that if anything went wrong. But again, if the price is right.

Yeah I need to ship it full of tools and its freaking HEAVY, thanks for the offer but then I would need to get it to the jambo to turn around and drag it into Sac.
size= 48h x 86 1/2w x 28d
model is 6428rx

If i were the one who transport this, i would pack the tools in small boxes labled up separately and keep a check list on bill of lading. a.) to spread out the weight. b.) easier to count when it arrives. c.) in case of a collision, better chance of survival on the box.

before it's buckled down, the tool box should be jacked up and its belly sit on tall wood blocks, absolutely positively not on wheels.

best bet is an U-haul box van. that's a small price to pay considering it's easily 30K-50K if that sucker is filled up.

Chances are that is too heavy for my trailer anyways. Sounds like it is best to have it moved by someone who is insured for stuff like that.

I say you ship the tools in boxes, trust me in transit they will FLY around in the drawers and securing loaded drawers will not be easy.

If you have a truck put it in the the back and go to a place that weighs big rigs or perhaps a scrap yard with a scale.

If it were me, u haul small box truck or maybe a van (ramps for a van arent sturdy enough for it tbh).

Ditto!

But if you don't want to do that I'll take it off your hands for $1.00! :) O and I'll come and pick it up myself too! Now that's a deal in itself :P

Ok ok jokes aside, the other option would be to get an uhaul and haul it yourself. Though that'll prob end up being expensive but it'll be better knowing that it's delivered unmolested.

x2 on delivering yourself.
one bad thing of U-haul is the mileage cost will be really expensive, but if you have a proper towing vehicle(i.e. Lincoln Navigator from airport car rental places with unlimited mileage), rent a u-haul trailer, it's about $35 a day, make sure you buy the insurance from whoever you rent it so if some thing happens, you don't pay any deductables and it's not on your insurance record.

down side is 55mph speed limit for vehicles with trailers can make a trip to norcal very very long and boring.

I know that's what U-Haul suggests, but, is that also the law? Curious!

3 or more axles and or while towing a trailer is 55 in CA. I think you could drive the regular truck what ever the posted speed limit is.
