Anyone ever have any problems / issues with OMF beadlocking a set a wheels? I don't want to fire off and totally flame them, so if you've had any experiences with them, good or bad, I'd be more than interested to hear it....

Thanks guys!

I think BruceTS and charles (can't remember his username) also have those.

I wonder if they make beadlocks for 14" rims? Would be bitchin' to have a set on the van.

lance, bruce, and charles (goodtimes, brucets, and calrocks) all have OMF beadlocks and from what ive heard from them they love them, but ill let them speak up.

it sounds like you are having issues with yours. i highly recommend contacting them about any issues, including customer service problems. they are a well known company and as i understand, achieved that through great products and customer service. you can try explaining your problem here calmly and just with the facts, avoiding flaming them. but i would do that only after you contact them.

chris, i dont see why you(they) couldnt machine out some pieces to make beadlocks for the van. that would be :bling: :bling:

I've got about 30k of use off of the Toyota wheels. I believe Bruce has more significantly because he drives his 4runner everyday.

When Charles originally got his he had a defect issue on a set but OMF resolved the issue asap and he's been problem free ever since.

They're definitely a great bunch of guys so if you've got quality control issues, I'm sure they'll resolve it.

I have OMF locked American Eagle rims for about 45k miles or so without issue.

Get the rock rings, it keeps the bolts happier after you rub them on rocks if you need to reassemble.

Mine were the first set of Toyota rims OMF bedlocked, that was back in 2004, Never once had a problem. Charles had one separate due to it not being properly welded, but OMF quickly resolved the issue and he hasn't had a problem since.

off the direct topic but how much do they cost to convert rims?

I think around $200, but someone can correct me. I got mine done at Champion - they were slightly cheaper.

what these guys said.

yeah, that was a bummer when one of the wheels broke/separated while i was driving. but ehh. OMF fix it for free and threw in a extra beadlocked wheel for the troubles. been issue-free since.

Champion has them in 14" for the side-by-sides, so I'm sure it'd be no problem
