I can't figure out what they would be used for. Any idea what items toyota would stick here on a more luxurious version of my truck?

Not sure what they're *supposed* to be for, but I've seen people put switches there for winches, aux lights, etc.

Well, i'm trying to maybe find what is normally put in there and maybe use it in my system... I want a factory look.

Ejection seat and turbo boost. They were import options so they're hard to get in the states.

When searching through ebay I came across a lot of Tacos with the Toyota Factory Alarm Warning Light there.

Also I believe the other spot was for a window button for the rare double cabs that came with a roll down rear window like the 4runners

I'm sure you can find OEM switches or lights that'll fit. Then you can hook up the OEM switches/lights to whatever you want, and have it look factory. It might just take a little hunting through the toyota parts catalogs.
