Being that I bought this 4runner used I have to learn where things are by FSM's or pictures. My question is where is the washer fluid reservoir? I followed the hoses from the nozzle under the hood and it disappears into the passenger fenderwell. I dont want to pull on the hose to hard and end up disconnecting it but I am at a lost. Please help with this stupid question. Pictures would be great if any are available. Thanks in advance. :headscratch:

It should be directly in front of the battery and right behind the passenger side headlight. I'm guessing someone removed it, otherwise you're blind for not seeing it.

Good news. My eyesight is still good. Now I just need to find one on ebay.

 I figured it had to be missing if you couldn't find it. I believe you have to remove it to change that headlight bulb, so maybe someone never put it back. I'm sure you could find one at a jyard.

Now, the one on my 89 van is hard to find if you don't know where to look. It's behind the passenger taillight and the cap to fill it is just above the taillight. You have to use the cap as a funnel to fill it.

I love that the engineers design these vehicles so that when they assemble them on the line it is easy to install and fill fluids and parts. Who cares after it leaves the factory. This is how the Japanese are punishing us for WWII.

I believe he's referring more to my van, than the 4runner. Honestly, come try to find some stuff on my van and it will make more sense. :hillbill:

I was referring to the van. Sometimes I think Japanese car manufactures hire engineers that have a grandpa that has grudge with America from the war and puts ideas in the grandkids head to make us miserable when working on their vehicles. Sounds stupid to some I guess. My grandpa told me that one day when working on his hilux pickup one day and I never forgot it.
