today, my roommate Kevin picked up this lil' gem:

its a 1984 AE86 corolla SR5 automatic. it has just 146k miles on the clock, making it quite the youngin'.
only one small dent, otherwise the body is flawless as far as we can tell:

it needs alot of TLC. door handles work, but require alot of force at the end of their travel. the driver's mirror is not power, like it should be.
we will be spending a long time getting it back up to spec, not anything fancy with it. its RWD, not AWD, but its very fun!
any tips, tricks, directions you think we should go, etc? he just wants a cheap daily driver, but something thats decently fun. not alot of money to pour into this thing, so it will be a super budget build. stay tuned!
