hood mods with scoop?

we all know the scoop that everyone wants on their 4runner has anyone ever just added one,you can buy just a aftermarket hood scoop,i know its stupid but its a thought,ive seen it before somewhere anyone here done it? thanks :hillbill:

lots of people have done it, but the fact remains that any aftermarket scoop that is attached will always look attached, and other people will know its a decoration. even if you make it functional, its still something your purchased from JCWhitney. if you were to take a stock hood and cut out the scoop so it adds some function (not sure what, as the aerodynamics there would pretty much do nothing), then maybe that would have some value. otherwise, i say save your money and buy something that is useful and tasteful.
