Ok so I just got my diffs put back in. Now the rear won't unlock. Doesn't matter whether I'm in 2wd or 4wd it is just locked.

to realign the actuator:

unplug connection to actuator, remove actuator, plug in, put switch in "lock" position. with screwdriver, slide locking rack towards the center of the axle until it stops. reinstall actuator. "unlock" on switch. drive left and right until you hear the locking color pop out.

that should work for you.

Need some more info. Why did you take it out in the first place? Did you retrofit it into a non elocker axle housing? Are you using the factory computer to actuate it? If so, is it flashing the light and giving you an error code?

Pulled third to regear. The light is solid. Sean how hard should it be to slide the locking rack.

it should take some force. i had to slide it by prying with a screwdriver.

when you move the rack (gear teeth laid out in a line), it pulls a spring that puts tension on the locking collar. when the collar is able to unlock, it will slide back. it wont be immediate because there will be some binding in the drive line. it helps to have one wheel up in the air when you do this. also makes it easy to check if its unlocked too!

im fairly sure all my info is correct. its been about 2 years since i had to mess with mine.

Here's the way I do it. It won't just slide over if you breath on it, but it shouldn't be hard either.
