So recently I have been tackling some projects on the 4Runner.
The most recent one is an issue that I have been having with my door sensors.
I don't know if this is a common problem or not but its starting to get on my last nerve.
The issue first started in the rear with the Hatch door.
After I press the button to unlock or even unlocked the truck with the key, I would go to open the door and the light would not come on.
It still does this on occasion but has gotten some what better (didn't do a fix so something got knocked back into place)
Well recently the driver side of the truck, both front and rear doors have been doing it.
When I first got the truck, the front driver door did it on occasion, but I thought the problem went away after making sure the rubber seal was on right (looked off a bit)
But not it is constant.
I have switched the sensors from right to left to see if it you be any different but it hasn't.
The sensor are grounded to the body right of the body of the sensor, and there is no corrosion shown.
I did notice that the little button sometimes gets misaligned.
I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem and if so have found some solution.
I am thinking it might be time to get new sensors for it...
