antenna for 92 4runner

this may seem like a dumb question , but will a standard toyota radio antenna replace the power antenna on a 92 4runner . mine is messed up and i really just want to put in a standard antenna without any filling or modifying the hole . this is my first yota and i just got it . so far i am loving it .

yes. i seem to remember either the base model 4runner coming with a standard whip, or the 89-94 pickup whip should work.

I seem to remember people using a whip antenna from a tacoma to replace their electric antennas.

iv got an aftermarket replacement whip for a 1st gen 4runner... works great
