Just curious if people are experiencing any wear issues on a 12.5 ish wide tire (either 35's on a 15 or 315's on a 16).

Obviously I know there are issues finding places to get them mounted, but I was just curious.

On my first set the tire place would not mount them on 7" stocks said they would not wear correctly because they would be to balloon like and the edges would wear out faster then the center, so I now have both sets on 8" and they work great

hehe I'm running them on stock rims.......but with the beadlocks it makes them 1" wider

If you mounted them on the stock rims you will have clearance issues with the front suspension.

I was wondering how you pulled that off Bruce lol!

Even with spacers would it conflict with the front suspension?

This would be on early suspension, not the later stuff. And its an academic question anyway. Have an oportunity to try a used set of 35's out, and might do it, but only if I can keep the factory alloys.

Mounting isn't an issue.
