View Full Version : Rescued 2 First gen 4Runners

Met a couple guys at autozone who said they got their 4Runners stuck on a hill nearby. Couldn't resist so I went and helped. Here is one of them, Dont know how he ended up in the 3 foot rut he was in..

After I pulled him out, He pulled the other 4Runner (the one now at the top of the picture) out, #2 looked to be on a pretty steep camber, and actually kinda scared me, But he got out just fine

Oh and here's mr sheriff that assisted in lighting the recovery

Showed up maybe 2 mins after we got there. I was sketched, but he turned out being a kool guy.

Maybe the guy in the ditch tried just using a strap line and was backing up to pull the first guy out then forgot about the ditch being there?

Odd, both 1st gens, and both red, was last night a full moon or something?

is it just me or does it look like the guy in the one photo has a UY hoodie on, unless that was you steve

They're bitchin dude !
Have had em wired up for about 2 months. Used em again tonight at the end of our snow run

I honestly dont remember exactly how they said it went down, But the one in the rut could have straddled it and been just fine.
