I've always wanted to start one of these, so tonight is the night. The official JUNK thread. You see it, you post it.

Ok so this one was cruising downtown and I could here it from around the corner before I could see it. At the stop light it had to be doing 1500 rpm and when it turned green there was a little tire chirp. The rust and smell were pretty bad.
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e13/mezamichael82/Cell%20phone%20pics/1208091526.jpg
This one was across the street from us while we ate in Oregon. It caught my eye so much I can't even remember what I ate for lunch.
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e13/mezamichael82/Cell%20phone%20pics/Photo0309-1.jpg
Now these 2 aren't necessarily junk but if they weren't taken care of they would quickly become junk worthy.
Spotted at Ikea. Now if and when I get my beater wagon I'm going to rock it at places like Ikea, the dump, church parking lots and the race track.
 http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e13/mezamichael82/Cell%20phone%20pics/0103001357.jpg :hillbill:

This thing doesn't look quite as bad as it sounded. It was loud enough that it likely had no exhaust AND it had rod knock.

Here you go, available if you so desire at the corner used car lot on Santa Rosa Ave. and Hearne in Santa Rosa, Ca.
Hint: Pay particular attention to how the shock hoops and a-arm drop brackets are attached, aside from the fact we all know chrome not only makes you go faster, but that it specifically enhances your ability to torque a bolt and nut down to a frame and have it stay torqued(?) and not tear out of the frame the first time you climb the 5" curb at Nordstrom's or Macy's.

haha, when I started posting pics in this thread I wondered how long it would take for (1) the location of a photo be recognized, 2) for a given car to be recognized, 3) for someone here to be the owner of one of the cars, 4) when someone was going to ask why I'm taking pics while I'm going down the road. To address the last one, at least it goes to show I don't talk on the phone while driving. :hillbill:
Good eye, yes, San Andreas. I grew up in Sonora and have family there, in Oakdale and in Angels Camp.

Head out south through Diamond Head, and up the HWY back north towards the harbor, there's a small section where there are like 4 rusted out S-10's in various forms of "natural reclamation". :D
Then head back to Honolulu and on down to Chuck's Cellar, beast ribeye for 500 miles! :D Tell the manager one of the Overton's sent ya! 150 Kapahula Avenue
