Hi all,

Sorry folks, I have been not active as of late. Lots of stuff going on.

For grins and giggles, I installed Ubuntu on an oooold Dell laptop. Trouble is, I didn't really do my homework :hillbill: So right now, the screen is split into thirds (vertically). therefore, it is impossible to see the menu structure.

So anyone here familiar with Ubuntu? Lee? I believe you installed Ubuntu on a Dell Mini. I'd like to post up some questions, but I gotta dig up my computer model, whats happening, etc.

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

I do a lot of Ubuntu server management (we have several dozen of them), but do not deal with the windows interface at all. That said, here's a post of someone who had a similar "triple window" problem and was able to solve it.

I just read over the solution matt posted and i bet that will work

I was going to suggest figuring out if the video driver was supported, but looks like that small edit is the way to go.
