All,

I am now able to proceed with my trailer project. I have been 'chomping at the bit' to start and now my wife has given me the green light (following paying off her '04 Sequioa). Mind you, she has always given me a green light to proceed with the various projects that I have had in the past ...I dare not venture into the 'do-it-yourself' realm as some of you have admirably done, rather, my skill set lies in the realm of dentistry, and I realized early on that it's easier for me to deal with millimeters in the mouth rather than inches and square feet in the garage.

Anyway, I had a chance to look at the many offerings on various forums, and I want to congratulate and thank all of you for your contributions. There is a wide variety of trailers here that range from the elegant to utilitarian. Nonetheless, all have their strengths and weaknesses. My needs required a more 'modular' approach to a trailer. I felt that an RV or a dedicated camping trailer would only be a 'one dimensional' solution for my needs and wants. I intend to use this trailer throughout the year depending upon the season. It will be used for the following: 1) going into the woods and haul split logs for the winter. 2) have the ability to drag various big game from the field to my freezer (following processing of course). 3) have the ability to load up my ZTR or future ATV. 4) take the family camping in the great outdoors. 5) serve as a part of the TEOTWAWKI solution and help get my family out of the suburban jungle to the sticks...So, given all of these factors, I have decided to go with a custom built trailer by Outlander trailers. I have been in touch with Robert Shepard for over a year now, and we have bounced around various design ideas. My trailer will be a form of this type of trailer called the Sherpa II. The width will be a little wider since the modern ATVs require about 50" across.

I just returned from Sheridan, Arkansas to see firsthand the Outlander trailer operation (Rober Sheperd). I got a chance to spend about 2.5 hours discussing the trailer options available. Let me say that his knowledge, attention to detail, and insight are all exceptional. It was well worth the trip!

I purchased 3 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo in size LT265/75/r16 and mounted them onto my split spoke wheels that I had in the garage. Tire shop had a first generation Revo laying around and let me have it for $100 if I bought two of the second generation ones...turned out to cost $150 per tire...

The issue currently that I am wrestling with is what kind of tent system to purchase. I need to have a changing / privacy room off of the tent for my wife to approve...So, I was wondering if there are any other options available besides the Serengeti...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/JVL_2824.jpg

I have also seen the Eezi-awn Globetrotter system but I think that the room would be too small for this to work. The room 'below' would need to be able to fit a cot as well as a porta potty system.

Please feel free to add any and all insight! Thanks in advance!

I have been pondering this issue today...What if I went with a Mombasa tent (Adventure II) and in lieu of an additional room, go with an Oztent RV-2 or an RV-3 with Deluxe peaked side panels? The ideal would be to snug the tent right up 'into' the awning portion and then fabricate an custom wall that would drape over the trailer tent opening. The outer rain fly of the tent would drape over the the entire awning of the RV-2...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I will call Oztent usa and get more information on this option...

Saw this on expo the other day. Looks like a fun project. Is there a reason for the RRT? I know they are cool but they are very expensive and can ruin the budget for a project like this.

The Serengeti is about 3K total, while this 2nd option would be about half...Also, I'll have the ability to mix and match systems as the needs of the family grow...

Got off the phone with Robert yesterday and decided on the electrical system as well as the LED light system...**Disclaimer - I am NOT an electrical guy by any stretch of the imagination so my knowledge regarding these specific systems are limited in scope.** If you have any questions, I will kindly deflect any and all questions to the professional (Robert Shepherd / Outlander Trailers / 501-681-4573).

Electrical system:

1) Battery: Deka AGM 9A34 ~ This is a sealed absorbed glass mat battery.

2) Charger: Guest 2608A ~ This is a fully automatic marine charger for a single battery bank. It has a maintenance function that will keep the batteries charged and desulfated during storage.

3) Battery Seperator: Sure Power 1314 ~ This separator disconnects the trailer battery bank from the vehicle when the vehicle is not running. It also controls the charge from the alternator to the trailer battery bank.

4) Battery master switch: Guest or Perko ~ This will shut down the entire system while in storage to prevent accidental discharge.

5) Shore receptacle: Marinco ~ This all weather marine receptacle utilizes a standard 110VAC extension cord to power the battery charger.

6) 12VDC receptacles: SeaDog ~ Three receptacles protected by inline fuses.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Electrical.jpg

* Electrical system will not be located in a tongue box but rather in the front cargo box *

Led Lighting

1) Two PM LED flood lights mounted on awning. Switched at distribution panel.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Awning003.jpg

2) Three SolTek LED compartment lights. Switched individually at light and switched as a group at distribution panel.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/616080.jpg

3) One Sound Off Signal LED strip light mounted in roof top tent. Switched at light and switched at distribution panel.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/ETULT12W_01.jpg

4) One 12VDC receptacle pod mounted on floor of roof top tent. Pod contains three receptacles. Switched with tent light at distribution panel.

Slowly but surely, the dream is being realized!...

Now is the time for powder coating...The price for the Sherpa includes powder coating of the trailer as well as the cargo / fender boxes. The frame of the trailer will be PC'd with a black hammertone finish with some gloss...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/finish1.jpg

The cargo / fender boxes are presenting a different conundrum. I am looking at options regarding what color scheme to go with. The powder coating company that Robert uses has access to all the 'Tiger Drylac' colors. Several options are currently posted. I really did like aggie's 'old' trailer color scheme:

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/CIMG1246.jpg

However, one of the drawbacks to the black color is that they get hotter during the day (Robert says approximately 20-25 degrees hotter) as compared to other color offerings...Therefore making the fridge work harder througout the day ~ Not good...
Thus, I am contemplating other colors schemes. Initially I was thinking of a clear coat on raw metal:

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/clearbig.jpg

My rationale for this is option is to avoid chipping from traveling gravel roads. I would eventually get all of the surfaces facing the front of the trailer coated with the Ameraguard coating...but I'm not too sure about leaving the boxes as is...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/DSC03657.jpg

Another option would be a straight silver 'ish' PC color to hide the 'dings' from fabrication...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/silverbig.jpg

Thus transforming this:

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/CIMG1257.jpg

to this:

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/4runner/002.jpg

I have always been a guy that doesn't like to be be apart of the masses. Yeah, I have a quirky side to me. That's always the way that I have been ~ somewhat of a 'gadget guy' ...Anyways, the quirky side of me wants to consider a more unique PC vein / hammered / antique color for the boxes...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/copperveinbig.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/finish4.jpg

I must admit that the copper vein is growing on me. The awning as well as the tent cover will be earth tones...I figure one option is to go with the copper vein and use a tan type of lettering similar to Aggie's old trailer...
Here is a sample of the copper vein finish on a truck...Closest pic I could find.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/CopperVien1_l.jpg

Don't know as of yet...Still thinking...Off to find someone with mad photoshop skills...More later!

Cool thread.

I vote for using the silver vein PC on the framing and PC the boxes to match the tow vehicle. Maybe even use black PC on the bumper, fenders, and major structural frame parts underneath for a total of 3 colors.

I am not sure if this copper vein look would look too trendy with the whole metallic 'earthy' feel...Not feeling the copper vein look in the 'photochopped' version...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/coppervien2copy.jpg

another option I found was this copper vein in a matte finish that reminds me of wood almost...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/powder_-_copper_vein_matte.jpg

*Update: got the first 'photochopped' version back...Not feeling the wood look with the matted copper vein...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/Wood.jpg

More photoshop versions to follow with superimposed texture and color...I will post up more of these as I get them.
Back to the vein finishes. I am leaning toward getting the silver vein powder coating done. By the way, the frame will have a two layer coat of powder over a POR primer ~ that should keep the rust away for some time, and free us up to use this trailer as much as possible. :D Here are some samples of the silver vein finish from various distances...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/finish4.jpg

As you continue to step away from the pattern, it seems to lighten up a bit. I think that this color will make the boxes 'pop'.

Good problems to have that is for sure! ;) Have a blessed day!

I like it.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is it to powdercoat the entire trailer?

My vote would be silver vein, but that copper vein is cool and would definately make a statement. I kind of dig it! My two rigs that would tow this are silver though, hence me likeing the silver vein.

Cool project and thanks for keeping us updated. I like living vicariously through others. :) Let me know when you need some kick ass tile work.

An od green vein would be pretty sweet!

Got some of the other 'photochopped' images back today. I'm going to get some samples from the powder coater in a week or so. I have narrowed it down to either the metallic silver, dark metallic silver, silver vein, or black...

Here is a pic of wet black as compared to silver vein...

Again, my vision is to coat the 'fore' surfaces with an Ameraguard coating that will protect those sides from road debris...:smiley_drive: Ameraguard is similar to that of Rhino and Line-X, but it is more UV resistant. Both Rhino and Line-X are Aromatic Urethanes and will eventually crack, peel and fade despite the addition of UV stabilizers, it is chemically impossible to prevent this from happening. However, the Ameraguard product is an Aliphatic Urethane and is said to be more chemically stable and will not crack, peel and fade under UV conditions as fast. I am not a chemist by any means, however, I can tell you that this stuff coated on my rockers and sliders look as good as the day it was first applied...

Pulled the trigger on a freezer/ fridge today. It is the Engel 45 purchased at Cabelas. I had earned a pretty nice chunk of Cabelas cash from my business credit card (Doing my part to stimulate the economy as well as stamping out dental disease :hillbill:) so 'cost' was minimal to say the least :ylsmoke: I chose the Engel 45 over a Yamaha generator for now. Based on what I have read on the forums, Engel's reputation for quality, efficiency, and durability is exceptional. Easy choice in my book. Pretty good deal for working hard...Now gettin' ready to play hard as well...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/MT45.jpg (http://s164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/?action=view&current=MT45.jpg)

This will be housed in the front cargo area of the trailer box. Fridge will be mounted on a custom slide system.

Also getting the 15 gallon water tank with the 12 DC pump and faucet...Layout will be different than the picture above.

Onward...

Got some more 'photochopped' pics of what I want to attempt with the Mombasa Adventure II tent and the Oztent RV-3. I think that the RV-3 is a better option due to the width being 8 feet versus the RV-2 being 6' 6". My vision of the setup would be to use the 'awning' portion of the Oztent as a 'courtyard' for the Mombasa ladder:

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/FinalsOnecopy.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/FinalTwocopy.jpg

I would then get a custom fabricated wall that would enclose the wall that the tent to fit into.

Other possibilities include these tents from Cabelas.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/s7_516306_imageset_02.jpg

My only concern here is that the vestibule many not be wide enough to serve as both points of the entry. Don't know as of yet what to do...Got some irons in the fire as too what to do next...Stay tuned. :wrenchin:

Got back from Cabelas again and got some other 'stuff'. My dear wife tells me that I go there to 'relax', Oh does she know me well...

Roll top table ~ Pretty 'heavy' compared to the other options. I may decide to take this one back and go with the lighter option...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Ancillary%20equipment/s7_518976_imageset_01.jpg

Cabelas shower shelter ~ Taking this one back...Took about an 'act' of congress to get this up...Going with the Trekker Fold-A-Privy instead...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Ancillary%20equipment/s7_518958_imageset_01.jpg

Pett toilet ~ Told my son that we were going to Cabelas to buy a TOILET...Haven't said that ever, he had a look of bewilderment to say the least :screwy:...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Ancillary%20equipment/500223.jpg

By the way, all you Engel experts, do you need one or two hinge locks for the fridge?

Progressing!

Just found this system from the North Face. It is called the 'Docking Station'. It consists of the 6 man common area which can then have several 4 man / 2 man 'rooms' zipped to the 3 remaining panels...Pretty interesting to say the least...

4 person room attached along w/ a 2 person room...

Quick dimensions:

Packed weight ~ 19 lbs. 4 oz
Floor dimension ~ 10 x 10 ft
uses 5 DAC 17 aluminum poles
Packed size ~ 12 x 29
Price point is very competitive...

The awning area is reported 79" tall...I bet I could put my Fold-A-Privy in the common area for my wife, as well as, the folding picnic table if we had too.

Very interesting...I'll investigate this system further...

It has been quite a long time since I posted. I have been very busy with projects on my 4runner. I had the original 4 way flat vehicle connector converted to a 7 way round connector. In addition, I took my Armorology bumpers and got them sandblasted and coated with Ameraguard coating. The powder coating was taking a beating driving on gravel roads during hunting season, and the winter road salt was taking its toll on them. This bumper project was a PITA, however, looking at it now, it was worth it. Just had to keep my eye on the prize and NOT the process...

Meanwhile, the build has begun on my Sherpa II. I now have pics of MY trailer versus others (Thanks again to 2Bcamping!). Here are some preliminary pics...I did go with a 14 gauge treadplate floor so that I would be able to load firewood / ZTR mower / ATV when needed...;)

Powder coating color: I have decided to powder coat the boxes Anodized Silver. Rationale for the this color choice would be to minimize the heat build up of the boxes during the day.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/Jon_Kim_Mobile_Unit_Silvercopy.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Powder%20coating/silverbig.jpg

Robert did give the me the option of adding additional vents to the boxes if the color was going to be darker, but that would then add additional problems regarding the seal.

Tool mounts: I did not like the tool mounts on the Baja Rack due to COG issues, and it being a pain accessing these implements.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/4runner/IMG_2856.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/4runner/IMG_2853.jpg

Instead, Robert and I are working on some 'custom' tool mounts on the Sherpa II. I bought a Hi-lift Baja Rack mount, as well as a Fiskars shovel and axe mount. I will use these on the Sherpa.

Here are the preliminary photos of the mounts that are going on. Caveat: One issue was placement of these tool mounts. The mounting locations available on this trailer is not too abundant so we had to be creative. Robert came up with a solution that I think will be great. ;)

** Please disregard the location of the shovel / axe mount on the last pic. This option was not going to work because of the size of the Mombasa trailer tent.**

Here are the pics that I have been able to get. I must say that this process has been 3 years in the making, and it has been worth every minute of it. Big props to all of the fine craftsmen that took part in the build. I could not have done this by myself...Robert Shepherd was GREAT to work with. I have called this man for 3 years bouncing ideas off of him, and this dream is finally realized. I am sure that his shop phone is finally getting a rest. Currently, I am getting my trailer and rig ready to participate in the ORCC / Bass Pro Shops event in early September. Sorry for the driveway pics, I have taken the Sherpa out twice now and it has been AWESOME...

I had all of the front surfaces of the main and fender boxes coated with the Ameraguard coating. Dan Cusumano (Ameraguard of Lee's Summit) did a PHENOMENAL job with the coating. I removed the fuel can holders and implements (Jack, shovel, axe) but other than that He taped it all off. It is a great exercise to see true pros 'do their thing'...Thanks Dan!

More pics to come!

Got the transit bag for the Engel 45 installed. Fridge is on a custom tray fabbed up by Robert. If you ask me, it's about a perfect fit for front compartment...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3637.jpg

The Engel is locked into place with a quick release pin. Even the small details are addressed...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3598.jpg

The great thing about the location is that with the awning deployed with the screen room, I'm cooking in total comfort... I'm still trying to figure out a system for the galley box...That is the fun part of it isn't it?...

The other side of the front compartment houses the eletrical system. Eventually, my Honda EU1000iA will fit there perfectly. Don't need a tray for that, just some d-rings to tie it down. The battery will run my CPAP machine for about 18 hrs if need be with the Engel shut off...So it looks like I will be needing the Honda pretty soon...or else the entire campsite will suffer from my snoring... :bangdesk:

The Faucet location was somewhat of an issue as to where to place it. We finally decided to go with the front of the box. Robert fabbed up a custom aluminum box cover for it. Here it is coated with Ameraguard...It is removable with two wing nuts.

The rear compartment was configured with a 15 gallon water tank. We had decided to have the fill valve on the fridge side. Got a brass cap to plug the valve while in transit...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3587.jpg

Rear compartment:

I bought an truck bed mat at Tractor Supply and cut it to fit the back. That stuff was tough to cut, thank goodness that I had some straight edged shears to make fitting easy. As you can see there is plenty of storage available.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3582.jpg

I currently have a PETT toilet / Trekker Fold-a-privy / 2 lawn chairs / Cabela's large folding table / Plano Sportsman trunk with camping gear / Rubbermaid Action packer (dry food storage) / 60 ft of RV drinking water hose...As you can see, there is plenty of room after all the gear is in...

Fender boxes:

The driver side fender box 'under' the tent is used for storage for other ancillary equipment. I've got my Mombasa awning screen room / REI Alcove / Mombasa rain fly rods / Custom trailer wheel lock...More on the lock later :D

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3583.jpg

The galley box is currently 'stuffed' with my Coleman stove / GSI Outdoors pinnacle base camper set / GSI Outdoors Infinity 4 person set / Century 2 piece safety post and propane hose / collapsible strainer / 2 BBQ grill lighters...This system has been MONEY. So far I have cooked some good chow and I am looking for a dutch oven as well...:D

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3585.jpg

I am still looking for galley options...as it sits, it works well, HOWEVER, well...you guys know...IT NEVER ENDS!

More pics later!

Finally, the Sherpa II wheel will be 'locked' using a custom wheel lock from Truck Trailer and Hitch of Kansas City. They were the ones that helped me out with the brake controller installation and wiring. If you ever need anything for your trailer, this is the place to go in Kanas City. Ask for a gentleman named 'RC'. This guy knows trailers like no one else. ;)

Anyway, I considered several different kind of wheel locks. The selection ranged from heavy chains 'laced' throughout the trailer to a variety of wheel locks.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/18440-wheel_lock.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/1808-truck-wheel-locks-2.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/theft4.jpg

When I asked 'RC' about wheel lock options for the Sherpa II, he immediately showed me this one. It is his custom design and I give him big props for the ingenuity of it. Simple yet effective...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3599.jpg

It is made of heavy gauge steel. It consists of a sleeve that rests above the spring of the trailer and pops out the wheel spoke. 'RC' said that the 'traditional' chains and wheel locks are vulnerable to cordless sawzalls where as this one would be 'less' prone to sawing due to the proximity of lock, and the damage that would ensue cutting it off...I know that no system is fool proof, however, if they want it that bad, it is going to take quite a bit of effort to get this thing off compared to the other locks.

Here is a close up of the lock fitting over the spring...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3603.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3602.jpg

I'm thinking this would be a PITA to saw off, perhaps this would be enough to encourage them to go on to the next trailer... :D

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3608.jpg

Here is the pic of the lock on the other side of the wheel. We had to use an additional D-ring to prevent the hockey puck lock from moving too much. Remember, this lock is made for small trailer wheels, not 16" Toyota rims...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3609.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/IMG_3600.jpg

Final pic of the lock on. Pretty hard to notice this lock from far away. I figure with a Max-coupler removed with a hitch pin hole locked, and this wheel lock on. If the stinkin' thieves overcome all of these obstacles, they can have this trailer. :loser:

More field pics to come!

All,

I am going to upgrade the electrical system over the winter...I have taken the trailer out 8 times this fall, and it is excellent. Still working out the 'kinks' of the Sherpa...

The changes to the trailer will be the following:

1) Bought a Yamaha EF2000iS from Cabela's for a screaming deal. Since I am a Cabelas club member, I got 4x points on my upgraded card in addition to activating two cash cards...When the smoke cleared from the deal, I ended up getting about $500 worth of Cabelas bucks from the purchase... Luv Cabelas...

2) I will have Robert put in another 55 ah battery and upgrade the charger / controller...Giving me a total of 110ah to work with...Wiring will also be upgraded and shored up. Also will replace the galley lights with some newer brighter LEDs...

3) My Baja rack is not being used, so I am going to have a solar option put in as well. The rack will house a 100watt panel and will charge my trailer batteries while traveling. Thus, there will be two 'plug in' receptacles on the trailer...One 110volt and another a solar...

3 ways for power when Spring rolls around...Vehicle alternator / Yamaha Generator / Solar...

BWJ

All,

Just got back from a backcountry adventure with my son . It was a blast! The upgrades to the Sherpa are top-notch. The galley lights are much brighter, and I really like the way the junction boxes / switches are set up. Here are some pics of our adventure...Look ma, no driveway pics! :D

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Farm1.jpg

The table and sink are what I consider 'money in the bank'. The table weighs in at a cool and wispy 15 pounds...Not bad for an all wood table. Still working on getting a custom made cover for this. If any of you know of a good seamstress in the KC area, I'm all ears...This is the first production table and sink from Outlander. Robert did a fine job as usual...Very pleased with the results...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Table.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Tablemount2.jpg

Close up of the table mounting system...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Tablemount.jpg

Here are some images of the sink. Honestly, I did not think that the sink was going to be this nice! Currently using a 5 gallon bucket for the water...Used biodegradable soap and snuffed out the campfire with the water...

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Sink3.jpg

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Sink1.jpg

Notice the improvised towel 'rack' in the last pic. The sink is too nice to drill a towel rack into it. Besides, to make it match, I would have to go with a $25 'brushed nickel' towel rack...NO THANKS!

Anyway, enjoy! All I have to add onto my Sherpa now is miles and memories!

BWJ

With the Pro Comp 7028s differing from my Toyota factory tri-spokes in backspacing, the old wheel lock no longer fit . I didn't think that 1/8" of backspacing would be an issue, but it was...So off to the trailer place once again. Truck, Trailer and Hitch of K.C. fabbed up a new wheel lock for me as well as a spare wheel lock strap. Matching puck locks THAT ARE KEYED THE SAME!...R.C. is the man to talk to there. He will take care of all of your trailer needs. Thanks R.C.!

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/bigwapitijohnny/Outlander%20trailer/Sparelock4.jpg

**The tab is intentionally extended out from the wheel so that the lock will not 'clank' and damage the powder coated wheel...I also lined the back of the lock with some rubber mat material for a cushion just in case...**
