I heard fissure mountain was pretty short. Now that I'm geared and fully locked, I'd like to give aftershock another go. Though if we do aftershock we'd have to keep in mind were most likely going to have to turn around at the end...

that would be fine with me. fissure is long as heck though. ill post a pic
. fissure is in yellow and aftershock is the orange one on the right

Fissure mountain trail is quite easy, Aftershock is not too difficult, but can be a long day if you can't make the climb out at the last waterfall AKA Depreciation knob. I've done that trail a few times now and still enjoy it. Claw Hammer is another good choice to run and at the top you can take the right fork to the back side of Wrecking ball. Fun watching the carnage when people flip their vehicles at the end of that trail.

Last october when we ran aftershock, Jon Brundant in his 40 on 42's made depreciation like nothing. Directly behind him was an FJ80 on 35's that was more or less out of forward progress, and could not be winched up. After that we turned around. Since we had so many vehicles on that trail (15ish) I think we had about 10 hours on the trail going up and down. With 3 I don't think we'll have anywhere near that..

C'mon people. There has to be more interest than just the three of us.

troyboy162
03-26-2010, 01:39 PM
i figured interest would be low....not many wanna push there trucks very hard, but three will make it easier to make it anyhow. scott have you ever changed a cv? ill have the tools/parts in case any of us run into trouble, but ive never actualy changed one.

I saw those a while back, I need to see dimensions on them before I buy them. The stock flaps I have now are already pretty short and could be classified as too short buy a pig that's having a bad day.. So we'll see..
