Cleg is the chosen? thats good with me.

i know there's some guys on here that dont get out much and are timid to go wheeling.... watch the above video for this place. that's a full day of wheeling a stock 04(about as low as 4R's were ever made) and there were zero issues, just all around outdoor fun! Also looking to have this one family friendly so grab the kids and the girl and drag them out too.

I can't make it since I'll be out in Anza Borrego/Ocotillo/Truckhaven Hills, but I had a question about Cleghorn. Has anyone ever ran both Cleghorn and Carvacre (AKA Pancake Rock, in San Diego)? They seem similar and I was wondering how they stacked up. Thanks

Have fun out there guys!

i havnt run pancake, but cleg only has like two real hard spots and you can bipass them easly. people are flopping trucks at cleg now but its only if you zig when you clearly should zag

Hah I almost flopped when my junk was stock.. But that was going the opposite then normal way and we didn't know. I think it'll be hard to flop if you're going west - east which is the normal way.

Well it sounds like it's going to be a small crew, but I'm still definitely up for going tomorrow. Gotta entertain Victoria's kids somehow!
And I thought the "experienced" comment was a jab at me saying I was going to bore him!

Just got this notice from Caltrans and SoCal Edison.

Please plan for additional time in completing your travel through the area. Detour signs will be utilized to notify the motoring public in advance.
