Craigslist question

I replied to a craigslist ad for a bike i am interested in, last night, about 5 hours after it was posted.

i can still access the ad through the link in my email AND if i search for key words using google site:craigslist.org

BUT when i just go to craigslist and type in the key words in the correct city, it doesnt turn up as a result....

so does this mean the ad is spam or something?

It could be the owner pulled the ad...

even though the link is still open? i havent posted an ad on craigslist in a long time so i dont remember how the other side works...
