body lift fender skirts

i have a 91 4runner with a 3 inch body lift. the previous owner for some unknown reason took all the rubber fender skirts off and now the engine is exposed. Everytime i go to pismo and have to drive by the water line any small waves come up and water overwhelms the engine compartment if I dont come to a complete stop. People that have been there know what I mean. Very frustrating. Cant find any replacements online. Anyone have suggestions where to look or should I just buy some rubber sheets and make my own? :headscratch:

Go to home depot and buy pond liner, its thicker and works better.

I've seen people cut up old big rig mud flaps.

think ill stick with the pond liner. great ideas guys. thx. mud flaps r good but very thick and hard to cut.
