ok i this will basicaly be a pictorial since we all know its just a matter of displacing or removing sheet metal to make this work.
some things to consider:
- vehical is a 96 with stock bump stops on all corners
-allpro UCA
- front fire wall already clearenced for 33" tires previous to first picture
- *vehical has one inch body lift*
- 1/4 inch spacers were installed but not nesssary for free spin on front tires
- using stock 96 4runner 16x7 wheels
- grinder and hand sledge were used
- no holes were cut
- rear apears to not need any metal work read bottom updates
- driver side needs most work
heres a base line where we started. major rubbing as full stuff but remeber this was already clearenced for 33" tires

here is our second problem...the spindle arm will contact the tire when the carcass is flexing offroad. i used 1/4 inch spacers to hopefully get rid of the contact

here the firewall is almost completed. paint fire wall, test clearence, apply hammer(and minimal grinder) where paint shows rubs. repete untill finished. you can see that not surprizingly the firewall has been beat back about 1 inch. everything is now flush with the rubber plug on the right and radioused upward smoothly. glued seems will split and the hammer is used to influence the direction of the metal to yeild. slowly and steadily make adjustments along the entire seam to maintain the radious instead of to much to one area at a time.

prep area with self etching rust preventing primer and seal with ruberized undercoating paying attention to any seams that are now seperated. refit fenderwells and flares as needed. note that the bolt in the center of the picture is set back further then the seam to the left
