Lift gate switch?

I'm guessing this is a misprint, but it appears to be a switch for opening the rear hatch on the 4Runners. Assuming it isn't a misprint, please clarify, I didn't realize there was a button on any of the 3rd gens to pop the back hatch. It would be cool to have though.

from the "look" of the button, id say early 90's corolla or camry wagon.

I'd say that was a mistake.
There's a switch for the rear window, but definately not the entire hatch door.

Yeah, looks like a mistake to me as well. I'm not too familiar with 3rd gens, but the ECT button that seller has listed for a 1999-2002 doesn't look right either.

I'm curious what vehicle that button goes on. Until recently, I've never seen a Toyota vehicle with a power rear hatch. Maybe it's a hatch lock or something along those lines? :headscratch:

he has a rear window lock switch too, thats a first I have seen on, so I am wondering if its from a overseas 4Runner...

I can't find any kind of motor or actuator listed though.

I have no clue if that is the same button that is listed, and I really wish they still had pictures. Interesting nonetheless.
