This is partial rant, and partial wtf...
I just had the brakes replaced 7 months ago, front and rear, and the past few weeks I've felt/heard grinding. What gives? What would cause them to be grinding after such a short period of time?

debris between pad/shoe and rotor/drum can cause this. i had this after going through some nasty mud holes.
what is the grinding? is it because you are grinding off the rivets in the pads? or is it something else? alot more detail is needed to diagnose this problem. pictures are worth 999.99 words

Agreed Cody, could be crap in the pads, or could be worn out quickly if you have a sticking caliper or anything of that sort. just pull the wheel off, brakes are SOOOOO simple on these things. you can look down in the top of the caliper up front and see roughly how much pad thickness you have left.

I'm hoping I'll have time tomorrow to yank the wheels off and see. With one car it's hard to find time to even clean it anymore, much less do any maintenance myself, lol. If I do get a chance to take off the wheels, I'll be sure to get some pictures.
