One headlight is dimmer than the other?

I recently had some HID lights in my 98 4runner. One burnt out the other night and the next day I planned on replacing them both with regular halogen bulbs. So i did and turned them on, and my passenger side light is now VERY dimmer then the drivers side. Its also the one that was burnt out. Can someone please trow some ideas out so I can figure this out.

poor electical contact - most likely causes are poor terminal contact in the headlight connector or a poor ground (try loosening and retightening the ground bolt)

If they were drop-in replacements for your stock bulbs, they weren't HID. :ban:

That being said, it sounds like it's time for an upgraded harness.
