Besides the usual exhaust and air intake upgrades I was wondering what other modifications everyone has done to squeeze more power from this underpowered but reliable motor. :wrenchin:

RV cam from engbldr would be what I would do, along with a HD timing chain.

i found a cam from LC engineering that might help the power curve. Anyone used underdrive pulleys? Curious to know how well they work. I'm also planning on putting a electric fan on so I can remove the engine driven one. I hear that one from a mark VIII will fit on a v-6 2nd gen 4runner but will it fit on a 4 cyl as well?
