Hi all,

Just want to memorialize our cat Winston who we put down this morning. He was my wife's cat for 15 years, living with us the last 8. He had succumbed to squamous cell on his tongue about 2.5 yrs ago. Surgeon cut it out pretty good but the prognosis for life expectancy was only 6 months. He lived 2.5 yrs. So we were overjoyed for the last 2.5 yrs, but are so bummed today. He lived a great life, brought us much joy and love too. Here's a pic of him in happier times, the way I'd like to remember him:

Little bastard was high as a kite in this pic. We grew him his very own a catnip patch.

RIP Winny, you're sorely missed.

Always tough! Pets are members of the family, and its a tough loss. Kepp it up Bob, and remember the good times.

I'm very sorry for your loss Bob. I remember you posting about him being sick (geez was that 2.5 years ago?) but I didn't know he had been given 6 months. I'm sure that the fact he stayed around for longer was due to the fact he had some good parents (you guys).

Bob, I am so sorry for your loss. I have a beloved cat myself, and I don't know how I will handle his death. I wish you the best, and am happy for you that you got to enjoy Winston for as long as you did. They are adorable little guys.
