Went up to cougar buttes in JV for a night run with the My Jeep Rocks crew. Good guys, great wheelin and a fun night. Only carnage was some pinstriping on Troys 3rd Gen 4Runner, a busted tire bead that was reset, my drivers side parking light got a little busted and some other minor sheet metal damage by a couple guys.

Troy in his 3rd gen 4Runner. Luck would have it he killed the front drivers tire bead right there. We got it repaired and were on our way in about 20mins

Troy,
What was your air pressure when you lost the bead?

i think 11 psi. it was getting a bit mushy but that spot was tough on tires. as you climbed the other embankment there was a time when you were nearly fully turned right and most of the weight on front driver. you grind your bumper into the wall since its so steep. fun spot. i made it on 33" last time so its not really hard as long as the tires stay with you lol

Dude, when are you just going to quit taking my advice :tongueout:

EDIT: At the trail head.. Troy was aired down to about 14-15... "dude steve, should I go down a couple more pounds..?" Me "Well dude you gotta break in those side walls if you want them to concave more.. so why not..?" Troy.."Yeah I suppose your right.."

haha well at big bear they looked like they were not really flexing well. ill find the sweet spot with 35" its diffinatly lower then with 33"

well i think the sidewalls on those KM2's are probably stiffer than your old tires anyway...

i had mt/r sidewalls they were stiff but the overall size of 35" gives them more volume of air to hold the truck up. i was prepared to go lower in psi then my 33" but 15 wasnt low enough
