Hey guys! Was wondering if anyone coming from the placerville/ Sacramento area to the Pismo Jamboree would be willing to haul down a transmission for me?
It's a W59 5 speed, supposedly brand new, no tcase attached and I don't think the bellhousing is on it either. So it wouldn't take up much more space in your 4runner/ truck bed then maybe medium size duffel bag. I will pay you for your time and effort to pick it up and any extra gas you think you used due to it's weight. I'm thinking it'd be 2-300#'s.

The transmission is located in placerville. Would like to set up a hauler before I buy so if you'd be willing to please let me know asap!

hmm... I can see what I can do? I usually pack lightly when camping and what not. but Im driving down with 3 people. their might be room in either my 4runner or one of their trucks. If not, I can pull the subwoofers out of my truck and haul it down for you. Im located in Roseville

Hey dude! It'd be a huge help. I'm trying to get more details on it ATM. I think I'll end up paypaling you half the money and have you check it out and pay the other half at pick up. You wouldn't mind taking a trip to Placerville to pick it up would you? I googled roseville and it didn't look terribly far from Placerville..

Nothing but 3rd and 4th are grinding like a mofo when I'm gittinit. So the syncros are fubared from what I imagine.
It's not going to be an immanent swap. Its still fine the way it is and could probably last another 50K miles. But I like to hoard parts :D Especially when I can get such a sweet deal on a brand new OEM trans..

Im actually going to be in Placerville alot in the next week or two. Im having Davez Offroad put my lockers in my diffs and also buying a radiator from him. and He's located in Diamond springs, which is 5 minutes from placerville. I have no problem helping out. just lemme know. I work from 8-5:30 monday through friday, so do you mind if I text you so the boss doesn't get pissy? just lemme know the details and what not.
