Hey all,
I have a bit of an infatuation with radial engines, and while doing research on radial engines used in some WWII tanks, I ran across this:

http://thekneeslider.com/images/2010/04/xr600-radial-gears-2.jpg
It's an 8 liter 9 cylinder engine built using Honda XR600 top ends, custom crank case, custom crank and rods, GM comodore V6 pistons, Nissan starter, Chevy 5.7 throttle body, etc etc.
Full story:

Part 2: (http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2009/03/16/honda-xr600-9-cylinder-radial-engine-update/)
Part 3: (http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2010/04/22/honda-xr600-9-cylinder-radial-engine-progress-continues/)
Pretty cool I thought.
