No shiz? Stuff freaks me out. Birth control makes my wife a crazy woman (like a lot more) so she's been off for about 3 years. My daughter just turned 18 months I'm am using this hour wisely as she just went down for a nap.

thanks for the congrats guys! means alot to us!
baby is due on May 14th, 2011. luckily we found out very early, so alexus is getting all the doc visits and prenatal care stuff early.
picked out a car seat/stroller combo and put it on layaway (mainly because we dont have the room right now to store it!)
tonight, alexus was sitting next to me while i was doing my forum readings and commented that we were going to have a babyz0rz. my heart melted a little bit!
mike, twice now i have fell victim to that .01% of properly used BC being ineffective.

Dude being a dad is the greatest adventure
X2
My little one turned 18 months this past week while vacationing in Oregon. Talk about an adventure. Seven hour drive with a little feisty one that has about a 30 minute limit when it comes to car rides. Then a week in a different place with different people, different food, different bed times, on and on and on. Totally worth it. This photo is from a hike at 5,200 feet in the rain, at an open crater. She didn't want to be held or even dealt with. She wanted to walk the entire thing by herself. Half the walk was up hill, half downhill. I could tell by the end her little legs were burning and her lungs were working.

At least. I'm hoping mine can weld by that time. She loves hanging out with me outside. We both get rather bored inside she finds her way into the garage. My wife about spit when she saw that I had given her a hunk of metal and a hack saw to play with. I always put a tool in her hand and tell her what it is and what it is used for. My dad did the same thing although now a days I have to run and get him a hammer when I see him using an adjustable wrench to push in a nail.
I told my wife she had already been introduced to the hack saw and how to use it.

That's enough about me, just showing you how exciting it is. Always pack a camera and have your phone with you. Cell pics are great because they are candid but you can also send them straight to the grandparents. It's amazing how fast you get a call with an offer to babysit when you send them pictures of what they're missing.

Ladies and Gentlemen of UltimateYota.
I am relaying a message for Sean who is now on his way to the hospital.
He is asking for you prayers in his and his wonderful fiance's hour of need.
Alexus, went to the hospital a short while ago complaining of stomach pain.
She is going into surgery as I type, the baby has moved up to the tube so they are preforming a surgery to put the baby back to its proper home.
Please add our dear friends Alexus and Sean in your prayers for a safe and successful Surgery and a speedy recovery for Alexus.
Your in my prayers guys, text or post the minute things go through.

Thanks Avy.
I'm in the waiting room now. The surgery should last an hour, not exactly sure on the details but it looks like we will lose the baby. We are both in good spirits and happy she went to the hospital when she did. Dr says she could have hemmoraged.
This was a risk with getting pregnant so soon after her tube surgery. It is possible they may have to remove the entire tube and a slim chance they have to remove the ovary.
I will be at the hospital until I see her after surgery. I will keep you all posted. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. You all are our family.

thanks again everyone.
alexus is home now and doing very well. she demanded to be taken off the morphine last night (was really doping her up and made her sick) and is doing OK on Motrin and Tylenol w/ codeine.
they removed about half of her right fallopian tube and the baby. the baby caused the tube to rupture and she was bleeding internally quite badly. during the surgery she lost alot of blood and required a transfusion. she is now doing very well and walking around as much as she can tolerate. she will be off work for at least a month, and probably a few. it will probably be about a year until she is 100% again.
the doctor said that if she had waited much longer, it was likely she would have died from internal bleeding. we are very fortunate and blessed that things happened as they did.
thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes, it means the world to us. we dont have much family, so you guys fill that void for us.

Both of you are young and will have a long life ahead of you. Thankfully Alexus will be healthy. We've lost a baby too, a while ago, but we continued and have 4 now. I wish for a full healthy recovery for you, Alexus and keep each other happy. Your family will grow when the time is right.

Wow. So glad she got to the hospital in time! God made sure of that, huh? Praying for a speedy and low-pain recovery... My mom did the same thing with morphine years ago when she was on it...
