Just got my powertank and I am thinking about mounting it here, where did you mount yours in your truck?

That's a good place, but know that you will have to stand it on end to use it. If you use it on its side like that, the nozzle will freeze and clog up right away. It is totally fine to store it that way though, you just have to stand it up to use it. :thumbup:

Stand it up and put it in the front corner. This way you still have space in the bed.

Agreed. Make sure you can still get to the tiedown in whatever coner you put it in..

I want to mount it upright, but can't find a good pose without drilling into the sides of the bed, I'm gonna I've a bracket made for it to sit upright but bolt down to the bed. For the pismo trip, I'll strap it in the cab and feed the hose through the back pop out window.

You don't need a lot of air in Pismo, just when you need to air up when leaving. Your bracket has a quick release so you can mount it where you want. When you need it, unclip it and take it to where you need it.

There's a chevron on the main street around pismo with 28 air stations, but it is nice to be self reliant

so i got it mounted. ill post a pick of the mount tonight without the bottle. best parts, is that with the 20ft hose i can inflate all 4 tires without removing the bottle.

i used a in bed spare tire carrier and i drilled some new holes in it
