Has anybody heard about this and plan to participate? On 10/21 at 10:21 California, as a whole, plans to have an earthquake drill, and there are several different sound clips that participating radio stations will broadcast. It sounds like a great idea and I encourage everybody to participate. I will be contacting my store's manager about participating in this.

I hope the school doesn't. We've just finished having fire drills and they were a pain. Besides, I know what to do in an earthquake - although for me, on floor 3 of the dorms, idk if there'd be much hope...

my dad is a big part of it, working for the building and safety dept and all.

generally our classes are for the most part uninterrupted. its more of a test of the emergency services.

Ah. Ya the fire drills were a pain, bc one of the ones I had to do it was a rainy day, and we were in the middle of working on stuff for the school paper - I'm pretty sure all of us hit 'save' quick. :P
